Your hosts
Elements hosts Rochelle and Stuart returned to New Zealand with a dream of sharing their space to exhale with others looking for a sanctuary in which to unwind. While spending over 20 years in Hong Kong and Sydney working full-time in banking and starting a family, holidays were a welcome escape. What they found most remarkable about their holidays was that it was the people they met and the way those people made them feel that made their escapes most memorable. After navigating packing, flights and transfers for a family of five, Rochelle and Stuart fast came to appreciate the holidays where hosts minimised tiresome check-in procedures, instead offering a drink and a comfortable spot to sit and simply exhale. They appreciate that everyone is wonderfully unique and they understand how valuable your leisure time is, so they aim to tailor your stay accordingly.
Stuart is happiest when he is close to or on the water, and Rochelle trained as a yoga instructor after finding it integral to balancing busy family life, career and work with environmental and social enterprises. Their life experiences, combined with a desire to help people find their moments of happiness, drove the couple to build and host Elements. Rochelle and Stuart aim to create a sense of calm and contentedness as soon as you arrive through the doors that remains throughout your stay. Rochelle and Stuart live on-site with their three children and manage all bookings and enquiries personally, ensuring consistency across communication, service and attention to the small details that make a big difference.
